Soluble Alerts Via Slack

Get the Info You Want, Where You Want It

So, you’ve enrolled your clusters in Soluble Fusion by deploying the Soluble Agent. Now you probably have some issues that should be fixed (it’s OK, it happens to everybody). Go ahead, log in and check it out.

What’s that? You and your team live in Slack and your dev tools. You’ve honed your workflow to a sharp edge. You don’t want to log in to another application just to see if there’s anything that needs attention?

Fair enough; can’t say I blame you. At Soluble, we want to meet our users where they are, which is why you can route alerts from Soluble Fusion – and only the alerts you care about – to the Slack channel of your choice.

And it’s as easy as kubectl annotate. Are you responsible for a particular namespace? Just add the annotation to that namespace, specifying the name of the Slack channel you want to receive alerts related to Kubernetes objects in that namespace, and poof – you and your team are notified when there’s something you should look into, and you don’t have to leave the comfort of Slack to do it.
